    To advise of your travel simply send us a secure email by logging into your online account then go to: Services > My Profile > My Message > Inbox and select Feedback from the drop down menu.

  • Fees to keep in mind

    International Transaction Fee - Visa

    We charge you an international transaction fee of 3.3%, of which a 1% service and assessment fee is payable by Us to Visa, for any retail purchase or cash advance transaction in:

    • Foreign currency once converted to Australian dollars; and/or
    • Australian dollars (or any other currency), when either the merchant or its financial institution/payment processor is located overseas.

    Note: It may not always be clear that the merchant or its financial institution/payment processor is located outside Australia.
    For your convenience when you receive your statement, you'll see overseas transactions converted to the Australian dollar value, including the fees as one single transaction.

    Cash Advance Fee – (International)

    It will cost you $5 to withdraw up to $1,000 a day. You can withdraw up to $1,000 cash per day (which is subject to your Available Cash Limit and/or your withdrawal preferences) from your credit card, costing you $5 per transaction. This is in addition to the International Transaction fee. To access your account, all you need is your ATM PIN. If you don't know it, or haven't set up a PIN, log into your online account and set one up in no time. Go to: Services > My Profile > Change ATM PIN

  • Shop securely online with Verified by Visa

    Verified by Visa is a global authentication service that provides added security to ensure only you can use your Virgin Money Credit Card to make purchases online.

    How does it work?

    When you’re shopping online at participating retailers*, we may request you to enter an SMS Code before finalising your purchase. This SMS Code will be sent to your mobile phone and will provide us with confirmation that you are the person making the purchase on your card.

    Keep us up to date

    To continue shopping securely and without any inconvenience, make sure that we have your up-to-date contact details. We need your correct mobile number so that you can receive your SMS Code when making an online purchase.

  • Stay safe online

    When travelling it’s best to pay extra attention to your online security, especially if you’re using internet cafes to access your online account.

    • Always sign in by typing my.virginmoney.com.au into your browser.
    • Always exit Virgin Money Online by clicking on the Sign Off option, don't just close your browser
    • Before you submit any information through a website, look for the "padlock" icon on your browser's status bar, or check that the website address starts with https:// and not just http://. This means your information is in a secured session
    • If you suspect your account has been compromised in any way, call us immediately on +61 2 8288 2222. So that this call is at no cost to you, please call us reverse charges via the international operator in the country you’re travelling in.
