A note about interest on purchases.

If you hit the shops with your card during a balance transfer period, the up to 55 interest free day period is available only if you repay the whole closing balance in full each month by the due date, including any balance transfer amounts.

What if you've already got a Virgin Credit Card?

If you activated your card more than six months ago, you can still transfer the balance from other cards to us, but the rate is our standard variable 17.74% p.a. on the amount transferred. Fees and charges may be payable. Call 1800 080 000 to request a balance transfer form.

How long do things take?

For new customers it takes around a week or so from the day you've called us to activate your card.

Troubleshooting tip.

Within a week of your cash being transferred, let us know immediately if the money doesn't hit your old credit or store card.
