Virgin Flyer ‘Up to 4 complimentary flights every year’
With the Virgin Flyer card, you can really save by taking advantage of our great 'complimentary seat on the same flight’ feature of the card every year.
Here's how it works:
- Within 10 days of your Virgin Flyer card being approved, your Velocity Rewards account will be updated to show your 'Complimentary flights' redemption activity. As soon as your Velocity Rewards account has been updated, you can call Virgin Australia to book your flights. You can buy one seat and get a 2nd complimentary seat when you fly domestically on Virgin Australia and it's available for Saver, Flexi, and Premium economy fare classes only. Saver Sale fares cannot be used as part of this offer.
- It's important to know that the flights for this offer cannot be booked on the internet and seats are subject to restricted availability. Seat availability and fare prices advertised on the Virgin Australia website are not indicative of the seats and fare prices available for this offer. Seat availability and fare prices available as part of this offer are managed separately by the Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre.
- Your bookings must be made a minimum of 21 days in advance of travel so when you're ready to book your flights, give our friends at the Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre a call on 13 67 89 and have your Virgin Flyer Credit Card and Velocity Rewards Membership Number handy and quote promotion code: '2FOR1CC1'. The Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre will be happy to consider other dates you may wish to travel as some dates are more restricted than others.
- The complimentary seat is worked out by giving you a 50% discount off the total fare (taxes included) and standard credit card fees apply, the amount will be advised to you at the time of making the booking and you must use your Flyer Credit Card to pay for the tickets.
- The offer is for up to 4 flight segments per year and a segment is defined as a non stop flight. So if your flight has a pitt stop on the way to your destination, that is classified as two flight segments (e.g. a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne, with a Sydney stopover will be considered as 2 flight segments, Bris → Syd then Syd → Melb).
- Both Virgin Australia Guests must be booked to travel together at all times in order to be eligible for the offer. This means that the Itinerary cannot be split, and all flight changes must be made for both Guests.
