Status

In addition to earning Points, you also collect Status Credits when you fly. You can collect Status Credits on eligible flights with Virgin Australia, Virgin Samoa, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand. The more you fly and the higher the fare class, the more Status Credits you earn. Status Credits determine your level of membership within the Velocity Frequent Flyer program. The higher your membership level, the greater the benefits you receive.

How it works

Your Status Credit balance is calculated daily based on the number of Status Credits earned in the previous 12 months. Every Status Credit you earn is valid for 12 months, which means your Status Credit balance will not be reset to zero at your review date.

Levels of membership

Velocity has three levels of membership above entry level (Red): Silver, Gold and Platinum. The higher your level of membership, the greater the benefits. More information on the benefits.
