1 Velocity Points offer is provided to new Virgin Saver account holders who open an account 01 August 2012 – 30 June 2013, supply a valid Velocity membership number in their own name at the time of application and activate their account (by depositing any amount) within 1 month of account opening. We will give you 1,000 Velocity Points for every $10,000 deposited within 6 months of account opening and maintained in your Virgin Saver account for at least 6 months (i.e. $20,000 deposited and maintained for 6 months = 2,000 Points, $15,000 deposited and maintained for 6 months = 1,000 Points). We will only credit Points based on new amounts deposited and maintained for at least 6 months. Points earn eligibility ceases 6 months from account opening. Points are not earned on interest credited to the account. Points will only be credited once for each eligible $10,000. The Offer can only be used once per person and is not available to pre-existing Virgin Saver Customers. This offer is valid until 30 June 2013 and is subject to change without notice at the discretion of Virgin Money. Points will be credited to the Virgin Saver Account holder’s Velocity Account up to 60 days after the 6 month qualifying period. This offer is not redeemable for cash, is non-transferrable and can’t be used in conjunction with other Virgin Saver promotions or offers. To earn and redeem Velocity Points, you must be a Velocity member. Velocity membership and Points earn and redemption are subject to the Member Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.

3 Total balances of $250,000 or less will automatically access (fee free) the Australian Government Guarantee under the Financial Claims Scheme. As Citibank issues the Virgin Saver and is the registered ADI under the Financial Claims Scheme, the sum of all balances held in Virgin Saver and any other Citibank accounts will be covered by the Australian Government Guarantee up to a maximum of $250,000 per person.
