  • How do I become eligible for the offer?

    If you purchase a new Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance policy between 1 May 2021 and 31 August 2021, hold the policy for at least 65 days and provide a valid email address when purchasing your policy you’ll be eligible to receive a $50 e-Gift card.


    The offer is available to new Virgin Car Insurance customers only not and is not applicable for renewals. A limit of one e-Gift card per new policy applies.


    Policies purchased from, iSelect or Velocity, Canstar, Finder, Mozo and Infochoice are excluded from this offer.

  • Am I still eligible for an e-Gift card if I receive a discount for purchasing my policy online?

    Yes, provided that you purchase a new policy within the promotional period and meet all the other eligibility criteria. How seriously rewarding is that?

  • When will I receive my e-Gift card?

    Eligible customers who have held their policy for 65 days will receive an email within 7 days of the conclusion of the Eligibility Period. The email will include a link to claim the e-Gift card and further instructions on how to claim.

    Once you have redeemed your e-Gift card, you will be able to download to use it straight away and a copy will be sent to your email address.

  • When will my redeemed e-Gift card expire?

    Your selected e-Gift card will be valid until the end of the expiry date specified on the e-Gift card itself. 

    Terms and Conditions of the individual e-Gift card will be printed on the reward itself and/or available on the supplier's website. Check your e-Gift card for usage instructions and expiry date.

  • I’m having trouble downloading my e-Gift card!

    If you’re having trouble downloading your e-Gift card, don’t worry. Drop us an email at support@giftcards.virginmoney.com.au and we’ll sort you out.

  • I still haven’t received my e-Gift card

    If you’re experiencing a delay in receiving the email with the redemption instructions, make sure you double check the following:

    • You purchased a new policy between 1 May 2021 and 31 August 2021
    • You provided us the correct email address when you purchased your policy
    • You’ve held your policy for 65 days or more
    • You’ve waited another 7 days for us to send you the email with the redemption instructions
    • You’ve checked your junk and spam folders

    If you have answered yes to all of the above and still haven’t located the email with the redemption link, give us a call on 1800 887 707.

  • What if I've been offered Velocity Points when I purchased my policy?

    If you've purchased a new Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance policy from 19 January 2021 through Velocity or some of our other channels offering Velocity Points, you might not be eligible for our e-Gift card offer but the good news is, you may be eligible to earn up to 10,000 Velocity Points!17

  • How does the Velocity Offer work?

    If you purchase a new Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance within the promotional period through Velocity17 or some of our other channels offering Velocity Points and provide a valid Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number when taking out your policy you’ll be entitled to earn up to 10,000 Velocity Points to be credited in two stages.

    • 1 x 5,000 Points credited up to 90 days after the policy was purchased (provided the policy has been held for more than 65 days); and 
    • 1 x 5,000 Points credited up to 10 months after the policy was purchased (provided the policy has been held for at least 6 months).

  • I purchased a new Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance policy and a new Combined Home and Contents policy, am I eligible for both rewards?

    Yes, if you take out a new Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy and a new eligible Combined Home and Contents Insurance policy, you’ll will be eligible for both rewards offered for the policies.
