Virgin Money rewards you for contributing and taking control of your super. Eligible customers can earn Velocity Points on the contributions you make to your Virgin Money Super account.
How do you earn10 Velocity Points?
You can earn Velocity Points on all contribution types11, as well as super you rollover into your Virgin Money Super account. There are a few conditions you need to meet to ensure you are eligible to earn Velocity Points for a given Points Earn Period through the Engagement Program:
- You are a member of Virgin Money Super on the relevant Points Issue Date;
- You have updated your Virgin Money Super account with your Velocity Frequent Flyer number before the last day of the relevant Points Earn Period;
- have made a Superannuation Guarantee contribution or a voluntary contribution11 into your Virgin Money Super account during the relevant Points Earn Period, noted above;
- have not made a rollover out (partial or full) of your Virgin Money Super account in the 18 months before the relevant Points Issue Date;
- are a member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program; and
- are an individual who is an Australian permanent resident or citizen.

When do you earn Velocity Points? And when are they paid10?
Eligible customers are able to earn Velocity Points during each of the Points Earn Periods10 - see below for the Points Earn Periods over the next year.
Velocity Points are paid to your Velocity membership account 3-4 months after the end of the Points Earn Period based on the net contribution’s10 you made to your Virgin Money Super account during the relevant Points Earn Period. Below is a table showing when points are paid based on when you contribute to your super.
To ensure you earn your points you must have provided your Velocity Frequent Flyer number by the end of any given Points Earn Period noted above. Just head to the personal details section in your online account to add your Velocity member number.

How many Velocity Points could you earn10?
For every $5 you contribute10 to your super account Virgin Money will reward you with 1 Velocity Point. Eligibility criteria and conditions apply. Below are some illustrative examples to help you understand how many points you could earn:

Virgin Money’s Super Engagement Program Earn Limits
There are some Velocity Points earn limits to be mindful of:
- A maximum of 5,000 Velocity Points through Concessional Contributions;
- A maximum of 20,000 Velocity Points through Non-Concessional Contributions;
- And an overall maximum of 250,000 Velocity Points per financial year.
You will not earn any Points for any contributions that exceed the relevant contribution limit.
