Here are your quick answers for getting the most from your Everyday Go Account.{sub-heading}
Can I get a Virgin Money Go Account without a Virgin Money Boost Saver?
Yes, you can open a Virgin Money Go account without a Boost Saver. With a Go Account, you can enjoy smart money features such as tracking and categorising your spending.
If you also want to smash your savings goals, the Go Account and the Boost Saver are a perfect pair. You have the option to bundle these when you open a new Go Account. You can get points on your everyday transaction account as well as a high interest savings account. We’ve put them together to help you create better money habits that work around your lifestyle.

What is a debit card?
A debit card is a payment card that allows you to make transactions directly from your bank account balance. When you open a Virgin Money Go Account, you will receive a debit card which is accepted for online & in-person transactions globally and to withdraw cash from over 2.2 million ATMs worldwide.
Unlike a credit card, a debit card uses the funds you already have in your account, so you're spending money you actually own, rather than borrowing it. It's a convenient, secure and easy way to manage your everyday spending.
Does Virgin Money have Online Banking for savings and transaction accounts?
In short: yes, via the mobile app, but we currently don’t have internet banking via our website. The mobile banking app has everything you need for everyday banking, and you can manage your transaction and savings accounts anytime. Whether you need to check your accounts, use it for paying bills, to transfer funds, set up savings goals or access Virgin Money Rewards, you can do all this, and more, via the Virgin Money app.
In fact it’s such a great tool that you can also get alerts and insights into things like whether you’ve activated your bonus interest rate for the month, and when you’re getting close to spending budgets you’ve set.
