If using a credit card is a convenient way to manage regular spending, you can take advantage of earning rewards on things you already buy.

How do credit card rewards work?

When you pay for Eligible Transactions on a credit card that earns rewards, you earn ‘points’ for your spending. With the Anytime Rewards Credit Card, you earn Virgin Money Points, and these can be redeemed for rewards available in our Virgin Money Rewards program, which include cash back, gift cards and more.

Some cards have a limit on how many points you can earn on purchases. The Anytime Rewards Credit Card has no limit on the points you can earn.

You can earn 1 Virgin Money Point for every $1 spent on Eligible Transactions,²⁹ with no limit to the number of points you can earn.

What can I redeem my Virgin Money Points for?

Your Virgin Money Points can easily be redeemed via the Virgin Money app. Choose gift cards from a range of our partners, swap your points for cash back, transfer them to Velocity Frequent Flyer (part of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program), share them with a joint account holder or use your points to credit the amount of a recent purchase.

How do I know how many Virgin Money Points I have to redeem?

You can easily check your Virgin Money Points balance to see how many points you can redeem. Just go to the Rewards Hub in the Virgin Money app.

Can I get cash back with the credit card?

Yes, you can swap your points for cash back onto the primary cardholder’s Anytime Rewards Credit Card, or one of your linked savings accounts.

What does cash back on a credit card mean?

With the Anytime Rewards Credit Card, you can redeem the points you’ve earned for cash back, and the value of those points will be returned to your account in cash.
