Absolutely, you can use your Virgin Money credit card for purchases and transactions while overseas. Your Virgin Money credit card is widely accepted around the world, making it a convenient payment option when you're traveling. Just remember to notify us about your travel plans to prevent any security restrictions on your card. Also, keep in mind that your card will have associated transaction and international transaction fees, and the merchant or ATM operator you use it with might apply their own charges, so it's a good idea to check for these additional costs.
Can I withdraw money overseas?
Yes, you can withdraw money overseas with your Virgin Money credit card. When you use your credit card to make a cash withdrawal at an ATM in another country, it's known as a cash advance. However, it is important to note that you will be charged a cash advance fee, which is typically $5 to withdraw up to $1,000 a day. This is in addition to the International Transaction fee which is 3.3%, of which a 1% service and assessment fee is payable by us to Visa.

A cash advance on a credit card allows you to withdraw cash from an ATM or bank using your credit card. When you opt for a cash advance, you're essentially borrowing a portion of your available credit limit. This amount is typically subject to a specific limit or a percentage of your overall credit limit. - Always exit Virgin Money Online by clicking on the Sign Off option, don't just close your browser
