  • How many points are you giving away?

    We’re giving away a total of 21 million Virgin Money Points to 21 Go Account customers. Each winner will receive 1 million Virgin Money Points.

  • How do I enter the competition to win 1 million Virgin Money Points?

    You will receive one entry into the draw for every settled debit card purchase (not pending), direct debit or BPAY payment made from your Go Account between 12:00 pm AEST on 11 July 2024 and 11:59 pm AEST on 7 August 2024 (the campaign period). You must be an Australian resident and aged 18 years or over.

    New customers opening a bundled Go and Boost Saver Account during the campaign period will also receive one entry into the draw for every settled debit card purchase (not pending), direct debit or BPAY payment made from your Go Account during the campaign period.

  • Can I enter the competition more than once?

    Yes, you have unlimited entries during the campaign period. Every settled debit card purchase (not pending), direct debit or BPAY payment made from your Go Account made during the campaign period counts as one valid entry.

  • Do I have to download the app to access the Virgin Money Rewards Program?

    You must have access to the app to manage your account and to give you access to the Virgin Money Rewards Hub which allows you to manage the Virgin Money Rewards Program, access or activate special offers and redeem points you earn. The use of the Rewards Hub is subject to Virgin Money’s App Terms of Use.   • Can I get a Virgin Money Go Account without a Virgin Money Boost Saver?

    The Go Account and the Boost Saver Account are a perfect pair and come bundled when you open a new Go Account. You can get points on your everyday transaction account and enjoy a high bonus interest rate on your Boost Saver account when you meet the Monthly Criteria*. We’ve put them together to help you create better money habits and have some fun while you do. 

    *Bonus variable interest rate earned on all your Boost Savers, up to a combined total balance of $250,000, in the same name as your Go Account when you meet the Monthly Criteria each month:

    • Deposit at least $1,000 into your Go Account from another financial institution.
    • Make at least 5 settled purchases from your Go Account  in that month (purchases must settle in the same month, and cannot be pending).

    When the Monthly Criteria is met in a calendar month, the Bonus Interest rate will apply in the following calendar month.

  • How do I get 5,000 Bonus Points as a new Go Account customer?

    New customers will earn 5,000 Bonus Virgin Money Points when they make at least one settled debit card purchase (not pending), direct debit or BPAY payment from the Go Account in the first 30 days from account opening. Cash withdrawals, deposits, refunds, reversals or credits to the Virgin Money Go Account, Pay Someone payments and internal transfers are excluded from the Bonus Points offer. For new customers who open a Virgin Money Go Account jointly with another person, the Bonus Points will be split and evenly allocated to both joint account holders of that account once the Welcome Offer Criteria have been met.  Offer ends 31/12/24. A new customer is any person who does not currently or has not previously held a Virgin Money Go Account or Virgin Money Grow Saver Account.

  • Do Virgin Money Points expire?

    There’s no 'use-by' date on Virgin Money Points if you have an active eligible product with us and have earned or redeemed a point within the last 2 years. If you no longer hold an eligible product, the Points you earned will expire within 3 months of closing the eligible product and you will only be able to redeem any remaining Points as an eVoucher (gift card). 

  • How does transferring Points to your travel program work?

    You can transfer and convert your Virgin Money Rewards Points to one of our participating Travel Loyalty Program partners, including Velocity Frequent Flyer, ALL – Accor Live Limitless, Etihad, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Marriott Bonvoy® and United MileagePlus. 

    To redeem your points simply click on ‘Redeem’ in the Rewards Hub and select ‘Transfer Points to your travel program’.  

    Please note: The Travel Program you are transferring points to must be held under the same name as your Virgin Money product and be active and be matched with the frequent flyer membership or loyalty account number you provide to us. Points cannot be transferred to another person or to an account held jointly with another person. Travel Loyalty Program’s loyalty points cannot be converted to Virgin Money Points. Minimum and maximum redemption rates are set by us and vary across each program. Points transferred to a Travel Loyalty Program will be governed and subject to the Travel Loyalty Program terms and conditions and once transferred cannot be reversed. Once transferred the points are usually available within 24 hours, but can take up to 5 business days.
