Special Relief Assistance

Virgin Money is activating its Special Relief Assistance for customers who have been impacted by natural disasters such as droughts, fires, floods and earthquakes.  

With dangerous conditions affecting regions across the country, the safety of our customers is our highest priority. Once safe to do so, impacted Virgin Money customers are encouraged to contact the Customer Assistance team on  13 81 51 to discuss the options available to them.

The Special Relief process provides urgent access to support for Virgin Money customers affected by natural disasters such as droughts, fires, floods and earthquakes, where they can discuss financial relief available including:  

  • 90 day deferral of loan repayments, which may be capitalised to the loan over the remaining term;
  • Waiver of fees associated with transactions relating to the natural disaster.

At Virgin Money, we understand that managing financial matters can sometimes be stressful. To help ease this burden, you have the option to have us communicate directly with your financial counsellor or representative if required.
