Hub Technical Requirements

We aim to offer a fast and high-quality service to users of the Hub.

Our Hub is a full Internet based service which does not require you to download any additional software. To meet our security standards your browser must support 128-bit SSL encryption. This page lists our recommended minimum hardware, operating system and browser requirements to access the Virgin Money Hub.

Recommended minimum computer hardware

Internet access via modem - 56.6kbps modem connection

Windows® PC - Pentium or equivalent processor, 512 MB RAM

Apple Macintosh - iMac, iBook, Power Macintosh G3, Power Mac® G4Cube, PowerBook G3, or PowerBook G4, 512 MB RAM

Screen Resolution - 800 x 600 or greater is preferred

Below are some of the required settings for the supported browsers:

  • JavaScript must be enabled for the Hub and Mobile Hub to work correctly
  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) (preferable 2 and 3) must be enabled
  • Some help and message functions make use of pop-ups, however all functional parts of the site (such as transfers and payments) will work with the pop-up feature disabled
  • Cookies must be enabled for you to access the Hub and Mobile Hub.

The suggested settings are designed to optimise the performance of your Virgin Money Hub session only. It is your responsibility to ensure that changing your settings will not affect any other software or functions on your computer before you make any changes.
