What's covered?
We offer two types of Third Party car insurance. With Third Party Property Insurance, you're covered for damage caused by your car to other people’s property, plus limited cover for the car if damaged in a no fault accident with an uninsured vehicle.
For extra coverage, consider our Third Party Property, Fire & Theft Insurance. With Third Party Property, Fire and Theft Insurance, your car is protected if it is stolen or catches fire on top of everything else already covered with our Third Party Property Only Insurance.

What's the difference between Comprehensive, Third Party Property, Fire and Theft and Third Party Property Only?

- Comprehensive cover means you're protected against all manner of accidents, whether you or someone else is at fault. Your car is also protected should someone break in, steal it, vandalise it or set it alight.
- Third Party Property, Fire and Theft cover gives you protection against damage caused by your vehicle to another's property, plus cover should your car catch fire or if someone steals it. It offers limited cover if your car is damaged by an uninsured vehicle and the accident is their fault.
- Third Party Property Only cover gives you protection against damage that's been caused by your car to someone else's property, and limited cover if your car is damaged by an uninsured vehicle and the accident is their fault.

What does Third Party Property Car Insurance cover?
Third Party Property Only Car Insurance at Virgin Money will cover you for the damage caused by you to someone else’s cars and property. It also includes up to $5,000 for damage caused by an uninsured vechicle and the accident is their fault (including recovery, towing and storage costs).
It does not cover your car from fire or theft. To cover your car for these unfortunate circumstances, consider Virgin’s Third Party Property, Fire & Theft Insurance, which covers your vehicle for instances of theft and fire, in addition to the coverage provided by our Third Party Property Only Car Insurance.

Compulsory Third Party, or CTP insurance is a mandatory type of insurance in all states and territories in Australia. It covers personal injury or death caused to third parties in a car accident.
Third Party Property Car Insurance is optional, it covers for damage to other people's property and vehicle.
